R3 Commercial were commissioned by Viewpoint Housing Association to carry out a full kitchen replacement for one of their tenants. The project involved a complete strip out of the existing space and installation of a new, modern kitchen within a tight timescale.
On the first day of the project, Lewis and the rest of the team – Jeremy, Craig and Macauley, arrived on site ready to begin works. Before any work commenced, Lewis took the time to speak with the tenant to confirm the plan for the upcoming days and address any questions they had, ensuring everyone was comfortable and informed before work began.
Scope of Works Included:
- Strip out of existing kitchen, including removal of old wall tiling
- Rewiring of kitchen space, including new lighting
- Plaster repairs following tile removal and electrical raggles
- Full installation of brand-new kitchen
- Installation of full new plywood over existing floorboards
- Fitting of full non-slip vinyl flooring
- Complete room redecoration
Despite the challenges presented by the small workspace and the layout of existing pipework, the team worked collaboratively and efficiently to overcome each obstacle. Their combined skill and professionalism ensured that the kitchen was fitted on schedule without compromising on quality.
The tenant was extremely pleased with the end result and expressed how happy they were with both the works carried out and the team on site.
